Planning for the Weekend

Published 24 October 07 07:31 AM | Corinne

My girls have this cute saying, "We're having a WEEKend, not a WEAKend." One of the struggles many people have in the fat loss journey is learning how to carry their schedule and good behaviors through Saturday and Sunday. Weekends are filled with events, dinners out, and your kids fun foods. It's also harder to workout because you want to sleep in...not get up early and bust a workout. Unless you are a PNP girl and you know that exercise is FUN!!!

Many things can help you avoid the pitfalls. One thing is planning! My girls start planning everything on Thursday. They talk about their plans, visualize what they are going to do, say, and eat, and they typically drag themselves out of bed at least one day to exercise and get their bodies feeling good.

I have added to my site a nice worksheet that will help you with identifying your weekend pitfalls and how to do better. Check it out along with the other helpful hints I provide.

Corinne,

I loved the 5 steps to a succesful weekend. They are all so true.  I haven't mastered my weekends yet and I probably never will but I have come SO MUCH FURTHER than where I was with them. I do not dread them like I used to at all and that is such a great place to be at.

Dawn
