Intermediate Training Schedule

Published 18 November 07 09:45 AM | Corinne

As an early Christmas present to all, I have added to the website a new page for Intermediate Training. It includes a great schedule for one week that you can use and test to see if Phit-N-Phat training might be for you.

Remember, the best way to lose fat is through:

1. Strength training and maintaining or building lean muscle tissue. The schedule calls for two to three days of training.

2. Focus on interval style cardio training. This not only burns through calories during your workout, but you get a post workout effect too.

3. Pay attention to your DIET. Eat clean and eat plenty of protein. We've talked about this numerous times in my blogs. :)

I hope you like the addition and we will use this page as a place for questions and comments in the future.

Corrine -

THANKS so much!  I just started back to my gym for the winter and was looking to shake up the old routine.  I also wanted to conquer my fear of free weights.  This is a great help.

(if I could just stay on the #*$*#(!@ stability ball)

:)  ...another goal!

Hi Corrine, I am just checking out your site. I am thoroughly impressed.

What do you mean by not using the machines? What is intereval cardio training?

Thanks for your help

Machines like the abductur or lat raise. You get a better workout doing exercises that require you to move or stand like lunges and squats.
