Support Your PNP Girls Sunday! It's a Challenge!

Published 26 November 07 09:26 PM | Corinne

As many of you know, some clients and I have been preparing for the Las Vegas Half Marathon. The race is this Sunday starting at 6am!!! We are so excited, well prepared, and ready to hit the strip in PNP fashion.

This is a special race because:

1. All of the participants (excluding myself) will be doing it for their very first time and that is an amazing and special accomplishment.

2. Each of us has lost signficant weight through our fat loss journey. The group has lost a total of over 400lbs.

3. We get to do it as a team!

4. Bill and Lorie along with Chris and me will be renewing our vows along the route.

What would make this day perfect for me is if all my girls who read me regularly would promise to complete one workout this Sunday in honor of us racing. You can run, walk, strength train, or spin your way to health but I want to know while I'm running that I have Phat Hotties all over improving their lives on Sunday. If you plan to join us Sunday, post here in the comments and tell us all about it...and wish my girls luck while you are at it. One catch, you can't do a normal workout. I want you doing a workout a little harder and a little tougher than your last workout AND you do it with a big Phat smile on your face!

Thanks for all the support you give me and my crew of girls. We'll be thinking of all of you as we cross the finish line. Who knows, maybe you'll get to join PNP soon and join one of our challenges or events next year. Two things I can promise you: we almost always give away a special t-shirt AND you'll look hotter than ever before when you finish!

Corinne,

Just wanted to drop and line and tell you and the other PNP runners GOOD LUCK in Vegas this weekend!  I am sure your ladies know this, but as a run coach for Team in Training, my mantra is plan your run and run your plan!  I have seen LOTS of runners figure out "how" they are going to run their endurance race, only to get there and it flies out the door, with lots of regret post race.  I'm sure that you are all well prepared and will have a fantastic time.  Good luck, every step of the way!

Thank you first to my good buddy Tammi.  I don't know that I would have accepted this challenge without her.  She has been my running buddy since I started, steadfast the entire way.  I love her dearly and I hope she knows it.

Corinne, thanks for giving me this challenge and having the confidence in me.  I know you had more than I did when I said I would do this.

Lorie, Bill, Jessica and Chris.. I'm super thrilled to be running with you all, you are great examples of how support, hardwork and love can transform an individual both on the inside and out.

Let's run our hearts out!

I'll be busting my tail on Sunday and thinking of you all.  I wish I could be there at the finish line cheering, but I'll be cheering in my heart.  Good luck, you all worked so hard, and have inspired us all!

Maybe next year if you do it again I can join you :)

Best of luck to all those running!  You are truly an inspiration.

I will plan workout but it wont be hard or fast.  I have been out of commission for awhile and need to work my way back.

I'll be running for an hour and a half and thinking of ya'll the whole time.  I'm so sad I won't be there with you in person, but I'll be there in spirit.  Run girls and guys, run!  Bill, Lorie and Jess, safe travels from Arkie.  Tammi and Kathleen, I'm going to miss seeing you again.  Chris and Corinne, I'm excited to hear how it feels to cross that finish line together.  Love you all!

I will be working out on Sunday too! I usually use it as a DOR (ok fine so maybe it is really a day of laziness), but I will hit the gym just for you guys! Congratulations on running the half marathon, it is a true achievement! I will be thinking of you guys!

All of you are so awesome! We are going to take pics of our trip and next year I'll publish our schedule so that we can get more and more of you crossing finish lines with us regardless if you are a client or not!!! Woohoo!

I'll be doing an honor workout on Sunday :).  Since your blog on putting 100% effort in to your workouts for 100% results (or close thereto).  I've made sure I sweat with every workout.  I realized I had grown comfortable with my routine, so I'm determined to make sure I give it my all.  I don't have alot of time to devote and its sometimes interrupted frequently, but darn it I'm gonna sweat before I'm done, because I want it!

Y'all know I'm with you in spirit and will be sure to work my booty off in honor of you - in my PnP t-shirt - on Sunday.

I'm so proud of all of you!  Lots of love, hugs and good thoughts coming your way!
