Home Cardio Routine: No Machines But Loads of Sweat

Published 21 February 08 01:31 PM | Corinne

During the cold winter months it is tough to get outside and do you running or walking. Many people don't own fancy pieces of exercise equipment and if they have to listen to their DVD DIva yell at them one more time they might just puke.

Today I'm giving you a great routine you can use at home as a way to break your rut and hold out until Spring gets here. Here's the attachment to your free download and let me tell you, this is a totally adapable routine for any skill level. Four Station Cardio Routine.doc

Good luck and let me know how it goes. Also feel free to post questions if you have them. I did include links to most of the exercises to help you out with form.

Enjoy!

Corrine,

I have been a lurker for many many months now.  I love your blog - all of your tips really keep me on track.  I'm a WWer and I try really hard to track my exercise and food everyday (well, on the weekends sometimes I'm a little to lax - which is why I still have about 8 lbs. that won't disappear!)  Anyway, I had to come out of hiding to thank you for all of you dedication to this site....and to tell you that I did this indoor cardio routine last night and it was AWESOME!  A great mix of cardio and strength training.  Boot camp has got nothing on you!  I am feeling it today in a great way! Thanks again! :)

Thanks! Come out of hiding more often. I love talking to my readers. So many of you read, read, read, and never say hello. :)

Wowza! That one kicked my butt for sure - I struggled to make it through the third set, and had to drop down the times of the rounds, but it felt great all the same. I can't wait to do it again!

Thanks again for another great workout routine.  I did this one yesterday as I love this type of workout challenge. Boy, what a challenge!  It is so good to change up what you are doing week in and week out.  This one shook up my routine a lot!  I loved it.  I can't wait to to it again.  It is amazing how out of shape certain areas of our body get when we don't use them each day...my mid section in particular.   Doing workouts like this one really challenge your body as you are not used to doing these types moves in everyday life.  So much more of a workout than just running or doing one thing for 60 minutes.  Thanks again!
