She also lost a total of 14 pounds during the twelve week challenge! Way to go Ms. Amy.
Amy worked very hard through this challenge, but I'm going to let her tell you in her own words how she feels right now about all of this.
"I can tell you, I felt like a winner this weekend when I was trying on clothes.....I'm still having trouble finding the right stuff, but I was so happy to see that clothes that I thought would be too small, actually fit my current size!
The challenge was the first of any kind of physical push I had ever really given myself. I've worked out in the past, consistently sometimes, but this is the FIRST time that I've committed to working out THAT hard. Now, I know that I can do it, and I've set a new bar for how hard I will push myself in the future.
I've said it before, but it's worth repeating, choosing to join PNP is the best decision that I ever could've made for myself. My weight loss efforts in the past have always consisted of either (1) dieting or (2) working out. I've always had a hard time marrying the two together but I knew bringing them together was the key to success. I just had to believe enough in myself that I could do it.
Last fall I made the decision to do believe in myself by joining Weight Watchers, and PNP in November. Corinne, after reading all about your hard work and success, I finally thought to myself....I can do this too....I just have to be willing to work hard AND I have to believe that I can do it. Thanks for sharing your story with us and for building such an awesome support community. I'm a work in progress, but I know that the tools and confidence that I have gained from this journey will help me achieve my goals."
