PNP Definitions

We use a lot of terms here on the site so here is a general list of definitions to help you with deciphering our code. [:P]

BLT's: Bites, Licks, and Tastes or diet sabotagers. They will kill your eating plan and totally take you out of the weightloss game if you aren't aware of them.

What's Wrong with Bananas?

BTF: Blast the Fat. This is a 12-week transformation challenge that includes a special strength training schedule and cardio program.

CC: Cottage Cheese

DH, DD, DF: Dear husband, son, daughter, friend, etc.

DOMS: Delayed Onset Muscle Soreness. This is where you get very sore 24-48 hours after a workout. It can range from mild soreness to ripping a toilet paper holder off the wall trying to get off the potty.

DOR: Day of Rest. This is a scheduled day in your workouts where you don't exercise. We use it recover our bodies because muscle grows and fat burns better when it has a chance relax.

EB: Exercise Bible - this is a book all clients of PNP recieve that is filled with all the exercises we use in the workout schedules, video links for most exercises, and descriptions on how to do them.

EVOO: Extra Virgin Olive Oil

FC: Flash Cards - each client recieves a download of every exercise in the EB that they can cut and laminate into flash cards for use in the gym. This way you only have to take the cards you need for that day. Most cards have a photo of how to do the exercise.

FGT: Corinne's phrase for Fat Girl Thinking. This is that voice in your head that despite your efforts and successes, something is telling you it all wrong. FGT is rarely worth listening to.

MB or Metabolic Boost Meal: This is also called a splurge or cheat meal. Usually once a week my clients will have a meal where they can eat whatever they want as long as they earned it! That means you ate on plan and you got in all of your workouts. If not, NO MB!

Also, the MB is good for those who do diet all week. It recharges your mind and your metabolism.
