Journaling is key to your success. Here are some free tools you can use to help you with your journey.
Cardio Log.doc- Keep track of your cardio sessions with this log. I like to track me sessions so that each time I repeat a routine (once every week or two) I can shoot to burn more calories, go further, up the incline, get faster, or take shorter interval rests than the last time. The key is to always challenge yourself just a little more than the last time.
weight tracker.xls - You don't know if it's working until you start looking at more than just the scale. I'm a big advocate in weighing once a week, measuring bi-weekly to monthly, and looking at body fat % if possible. Although BF scales are inaccurate, you CAN follow the trend to ensure what you are doing is burning through fat versus muscle.
