What is your favorite thing about PNP?  All of the support - being able to ask any type of question and know I will get amazing advice, and not worrying that anyone will judge me or think poorly of me.  Having a group of people that "gets" what I am going through!!

What tool have you learned that is a MUST do for someone looking to lose weight?  Plan, Plan, Plan!!  Without a plan it is too easy to make excuses, get too hungry, eat out of convenience, etc.  Yes, it takes a little extra time on the weekend, but it is SO worth it!  It takes the guessing out of the picture and helps to say no when those temptations come around.

What is your FAVORITE strength exercise and why? I have a love/hate relationship with lunges.  Of any kind.  I hate them when I am doing them because they are so hard, but nothing else gets the same kind of bang for your buck!

What is your FAVORITE cardio exercise (routine or other) and why?  I love to ride my bike - preferably outside - but even in a spin class.  I like a good long ride, and I like a shorter more intense ride with plenty of intervals.

How long did it take you to reach this milestone?  I guess I reached 2 milestones!  10 lbs lost with PNP and also completing a sprint triathlon last weekend.  I have been doing tris since 2002.  The 10lb milestone - I joined PNP on February 21st and hit the 10 lb mark on May 16th.

When you have a tough dayliving the lifestyle, what keeps you focused?  Knowing that I have to go back to the boards and check in with what choices I made, if I stayed on plan, and knowing there are so many people working so hard to reach their goals, really gives me the motivation to keep going strong.

When you fall off the wagon, how do you get back on?  This is hard because when I fall off, I don't just fall gracefully - I nose-dive!!  I think staying accountable, not disappearing, and making a plan (there's that word again!) as to what I am going to do differently the next day.

Name one person in your lifeyou want to thank for making this journey easier for you. (non-PNP member)  My amazing husband Todd for being so supportive of me.  He was pretty skeptical (admittedly) when I joined PNP - thinking oh great, here's the "next thing".  But he really sees the changes in me, both physically and emotionally, and I talk to him a lot about what I am learning, what I am trying to put into place, and how it is working for me.  Plus he grills my chicken every Sunday!!

Name one PNP member you want to thank for making this journey easier for you.  Corinne for developing this amazing group.  She is so full of wisdom and knowledge, and a swift kick in the pants if you need it!  She is also such an inspiration and role model for an amazing mother, wife and person working dang hard to achieve her goals.

Please indicate an eating plan you are following or list a typical menu. I do a lot of long workouts, so probably eat more carbs than most - but a typical day might be oatmeal with PP and blueberries in the morning, strawberries and a HB egg for snack, a flat-out wrap with chicken, lettuce and tomatoes with an apple and some carrots for lunch, rice cake with PB and maybe cottage cheese and fruit for a snack and some sort of meat and a salad for dinner.  Add in PP for a ST day (right now I'm only lifting twice a week with all the cardio) and maybe someother carby snack for a longer workout.  I probably have a combination of clean and convenience in my diet.  It's cleaner than it used to be, and for now it's working great!!!
